Fall is here! Before I start, I will apologize for the cliche in my title. (I had to do it!) I’ve been waiting for this day, and I’m so happy that it’s finally here. To welcome the season, I picked up some yellow roses. I’m not usually drawn to roses, but these were beautiful because they were so big and rich in color. I loved that they were butterscotch yellow, and it was perfect for fall.
We went to Parc Lafayette to enjoy the breezy weather after having a healthy lunch at Sandra’s Cafe. We have lunch at Sandra’s Cafe almost every other day. They have the most delicious, healthy food in town. We ordered the quinoa soup, vegetable lasagna, and chicken shawarma. Everything was delicious, filling, and guilt-free!
For my outfit I decided to coordinate around the yellow roses, so I went for a charcoal gray tank and a blue wrap skirt. I know it’s far from the typical neutral colors of fall, but I wanted to express my excitement so I went with the colors that pop. I was pleased to see how well the yellow stood out against the brightness of the blue. I love my neutrals, but I think I’ll save those colors for October and November. 😉
