Feast your eyes on this charming, December wedding. Everything about it was nostalgic as it looks. This is exactly why I love weddings near Christmas time. The bride planned everything fabulously. The wedding and reception, held at the 1100 Room in City Club at River Ranch, exuded an effortless glamour with gold and red accents. It was admirable in every way, and it was evident in the faces of every guest. My favorite part was probably having the groom’s “first look” at his bride on the balcony from the Carriage House. It played out like a sweeter, Christmas-y version of Romeo & Juliet with a much better happy ending.
I had the privilege to take pictures for an outdoor, camp site wedding which was so relaxing but nothing short of beautiful. It certainly turned out to be the ideal wedding because it was abundant in everything that a wedding should be and lacking in all that makes a wedding day stressful. The decor was warm and inviting, exuding the nature of the bride and groom. The fabulous decor was perfectly described as “camp chic”. As you entered, you were greeted by a gorgeous set up of mums and a rustic welcome sign. The composition of the details was simple but carefully thought out. I can continue raving about how great everything turned out from the wildflower inspired arrangements to the rain (which I hear is good luck on your wedding day), but I’ll just let you see for yourself! The sunflower cake area and the bar stand had to be two of my favorite things.
